Mpho Twala
Mpho is the grounded, passionate force behind our work. An award-winning Executive Producer and Director, he spent six years honing his craft in Belgium before bringing his profound sensitivity and a drive for cultural authenticity home to Africa.
To read his accolades is one thing—but to work with him is another. Mpho is known on set for his infectious energy and generous spirit. He is a master at guiding creative teams, coaxing out powerful performances, and shaping narratives with unwavering integrity. He navigates complex productions with a gentle but relentless focus, honing every detail into a formidable final product that feels both masterful and profoundly human.

Aadil Dhalech
Aadil Dhalech’s story is one of delightful detour. A half-Thai, half-Indian kid who grew up bouncing between Thailand, India, and South Africa, he found escape in movies. Like any good Asian son, he studied medical sciences at uni, got a degree in Psychology, but then broke his Asian parents' hearts when he got into advertising.
After a celebrated, award-winning decade-plus as a creative, he took the ultimate risk, right as he became a father, and left his stable career to pursue his dream of directing. Thankfully, it worked out. In 2023, he co-founded Fam Films with his work soulmate, Mpho Twala. His agency-honed knack for conceptualisation, comedy and performance, paired with a strong cinematic eye, makes him a dream collaborator. (His parents’ hearts are still technically broken, but they complain a lot less these days.)
